PRE-TRIP INSTRUCTIONS​

• Before your trip begins, you’ll receive a detailed instruction of the camper’s features and operations.

• Camper must be returned with a FULL FUEL TANK. If the tank is not full upon return, a charge of 150% of the diesel price on the return day will apply.

• Unlimited mileage is included in your rental.

PICK-UP AND RETURN​

• Camper must be returned with a FULL FUEL TANK. If the tank is not full upon return, a charge of 150% of the diesel price on the return day will apply.

• A final inspection of the camper will be conducted with the owner at the time of return.

• The rental period starts when you pick up the camper and ends when it is returned. Late returns will incur a fee of NOK 300 per hour unless previously agreed upon. Please notify us as early as possible if a delay or extension is needed.

• Campers must be returned cleaned as they were at pick-up. Cleaning equipment and a vacuum cleaner can be provided upon request to help you avoid a cleaning fee.

GENERAL RENTAL TERMS​​​

• Drivers must be at least 23 years old and hold a valid driver’s license for at least 3 years.

• Campers are fueled with diesel upon pick-up and must be returned with a full tank. 

• Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the camper.

• Campers may only be driven within Norway.

ELECTRICITY​

• The vans has a charging port in the front, connecting to the lighter charger - allowing you to charge your phone etc whilst driving.

• You can connect the van to external electricity at most camping spots giving you electricity in the power-outlets inside the van.

• You also have a powerful powerbank in the vans that you can use for charging while driving or camping.

HEATING​

• Vans are equipped with vent heating for use while driving.

• An electric fan heater is available for use when parked, but it requires external electricity. We recommend staying at campsites with electrical hookups for optimal comfort.

GPS TRACKING​

• For security purposes, the camper vans are equipped with GPS tracking via an iPhone AirTag. This ensures the vehicle can be located in case of theft or emergencies.

INSURANCE​

Our campers are fully insured through IF Forsikring, providing comprehensive coverage

• Deductible amounts:

  • Damage to the vehicle: NOK 10,000

  • Glass damage: NOK 2,000

  • Roadside assistance: NOK 500

  • Vandalism: NOK 4,000

  • Theft: NOK 4,000

  • Fire: NOK 4,000

REPORTING DAMAGE​

• All damages must be reported to the owner immediately.

• The renter must complete the damage report located in the camper and provide a detailed written account, including sketches if applicable.

• Failure to submit a report may result in the renter being fully liable for repair costs if the insurance claim is denied.

IMPORTANT INSURANCE EXCLUSIONS​

• Insurance does not cover incidents caused by driving under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or negligence.

• Internal damages are not covered by insurance and will be assessed by the owner. Any repair costs will be deducted from the deposit or invoiced if they exceed the deposit amount.

• We recommend renters purchase separate travel insurance for additional peace of mind.

BREAKDOWNS​

• The owner is not responsible for compensating lost holiday time or earnings due to damage or engine breakdowns during the rental period.

• If a breakdown occurs before the rental period begins, the full deposit and rental amount will be refunded.

• If a breakdown occurs during the rental, renters will be refunded for the number of days the camper is under repair, excluding delays of less than 12 hours.

• No refunds will be issued if the breakdown or damage is caused by the renter’s actions.
